Biography

At Seaside Attorneys, Catriona focuses on assistance with probate and estate administration, small business set-up and development, real estate transactions, debtor-creditor matters, and bankruptcy.

Catriona previously focused on representing children and families as indigent defense clients in dependency cases. During law school she represented clients in contested restraining order hearings as part of a Domestic Violence Clinic, was an intern at the Lane County District Attorney’s Office, and volunteered as a CASA for two years in Eugene. In addition, Catriona spent the summer of 2008 in Clatsop County Circuit Court as a Child Advocacy extern.

Outside of the law, Catriona has held jobs as a salmon packer, a restaurant server, a library clerk, and sold bridal gowns. She worked to help children get access to healthcare at a statewide nonprofit during her last job before law school. It was this job that helped her realize she enjoyed advocating for other people.

Catriona enjoys volunteering and working with local nonprofit organizations as a volunteer. She was an assistant soccer coach for Lower Columbia Youth Soccer Association for many years, and is now an assistant for Seaside High School Girls Soccer, which is her favorite activity in town. She is a member of the Seaside Public Library board, The Harbor (formerly Women’s Resource Center) board, the Food4Kids Seaside backpack program board, and the Seaside AAUW Scholarship Foundation.

Catriona enjoys running, fishing and clam digging, and hiking around the Pacific Northwest.  Catriona is a beginning gardener and proud member of the Sou’Wester Garden Club.  She and her husband enjoy taking their dogs on outdoor adventures.
